Galvin is the experience you hoped it would be. The staff is welcoming but not overbearing, atmosphere is delightful with just the right amount of background chatter without making it hard to converse. The location is stunning and sure to leave you impressed The food is as well presented and delectable as you would hope for it to be as well In a world of restaurants where the only goal is to impress, Galvin offers a delightful, colorful, tasteful and well rounded experience

What can I say… Other than this place is a must. From the ambiance to the food, this place is phenomenal. As soon as you step into the restaurant, you are met with beautiful sites. Pictures do not do it justice. Customer service was amazing as well. Stop reading and just reserve yourself a table!

Thought the lunch menu was marginally good value for money for just a one-off, but won't come back for the tasting menu. Cured trout was nice. The presentation was slightly disappointing; yellowish white smoked potato foam served on a white plate, feeling a bit bland and not so appetising for visual to start. Not enjoying the coarse texture of the bread either, but not too bad. Red mullet was nice. The thicker fillet on the top was cooked to perfection. The thinner fillet below was rather dry, but still OK. I also noticed a significant portion of 3 beef mains from the adjacent tables were sent to trash. I heard diners complain about the dish, but they did not raise it to the restaurant. I hope the restaurant got the message from the leftovers and the server feedback to the kitchen to take note. Dessert tarte tartin was a total disaster, seved luke warm; pastry was soggy, apple was over baked losing any apple texture to almost a sauce texture. I could compare the same dessert to another UK 1-star michellin star restaurant that this dessert should be made to order for each serving, piping hot and feshly made from the kitchen. A reheated slice for a lunch set was disappointing to end the meal. I managed to finish the dish anyway, but the diner on the adjacent table left the food to be taken by the server. Tea with petit fours were charged separately. Fairly basic. Would expect something nicer for French petit fours. After guests left after a meal, I did not see the server change the table cloth. Slightly suspicious about how often they changed the table cloth.

Very special experience. Wine pairing was excellent, tasting notes provided were very accurate. Staff went above and beyond and were quite professional. Pacing of courses and wines was perfect. The Taste of Winter menu is so thoughtfully prepared with great detail — such good value for a prestigious establishment. This really was quite a memorable experience.

Had a lovely meal here, Giles and all of the staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. The restaurant venue is an old refurbished barn, it's beautiful and the atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely. We had the 3 course Sunday lunch set menu. Only reason I've given 4 stars rather than 5 is because there wasn't any food or course that wowed us - the food was lovely and tasty but nothing spectacular.

The Atmosphere and service are impeccable. We are having a 3 course lunch set menu and price are reasonable. However, we expected more from a Michelin restaurant. The taste of the meal is decent and standard French restaurant, but the freshness of food, especially the fish dish is not what we expect it should be.

Outstanding restaurant, the food is great and well presented (sunday menu). As other reviews state the staff are very friendly and attentive without being overbearing, I find at restaurants of these calibre staff interaction is over top to the point it's uncomfortable. This however was well done. While I cant speak for the full tasting menus/ others. My experience left me keen to come back and try.

Galvin La Chapelle was absolutely incredible. Every course was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. The service was top notch, and Giles offered fantastic service for myself and my husband. Highly recommend this place!
